60th Birthday Celebration

It was wonderful to see so many of our community join us for our first special assembly on the 10th February 2025, where we officially began our 60th birthday celebrations. It was lovely to hear our students singing along to our new song ‘Sweet Parafield,’ and we enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane as we learnt more about what life was like at our school 60 years ago. We have a lot of fun activities planned for the year, including some competitions and opportunities to build student voice and agency. We look forward to sharing these events with you throughout the year.

Thank you to all of our families, visitors and special guests who joined us for our 60th birthday celebrations on Tuesday 23rd September. It was a wonderful day, with the sun shining, our students showcasing their talents and the whole school community working together as we displayed our pride for our rich history. We look forward to sharing footage from the aerial photo taken and would like to pass on our sincerest thanks to Jhonathan Chicas from Parafield Gardens High School for helping us out with the drone, used to take the footage.

A big thank you to Ryan from Kickstart for Kids, Eloisia from Hollywood Plaza and representatives from The Smith Family – Zoe and Sarah for being our guest judges for our PGPS Has Got Talent. We would also like to make a special thank you to John Fulbrook MP, Member for Playford, for joining us on the day. We are grateful for our additional helpers, including our Governing Council members and additional volunteers who were a big help on the day.

All of our students have contributed to these murals and we are proud of their creative talents being showcased in these long lasting pieces of art work.
