The Youth Environment Committee have been involved in a fabulous opportunity to share their ideas about the environment. Green Adelaide, a government agency who are responsible for environmental education and policy, sought student ideas about how government could plan for a cleaner, cooler and greener environment in South Australia. As a school that has a strong environmental student voice we were chosen as one of several across Adelaide to be interviewed. The students were interviewed on camera, and their responses will be made into a short film which will be shown at Green Adelaide’s strategic planning meetings. We are very proud that our students shared their creative and informed ideas in such a passionate way and look forward to seeing their ideas being shared at higher levels.
