Peace Committee

Each class chooses one member to represent their class as a Peace Committee representative. It is expected that the school representatives promote student initiative and leadership and display peace building qualities with the school and the community. The students meet fortnightly with our Wellbeing Leader and share information from their class meetings to help make improvements to our school.

They host events such as Acquaintance Night and Harmony Day. They promote and acknowledge events such as World Environment Day and International Day of Peace. These events enable students and staff to celebrate together in a way that teaches us about our cultural diversity and values our commitment to harmony.

The Peace Committee decides on fundraising activities and choose which charities to help support with the donations. They are held in high account by their peers and their ideas, discussions and decision making are pivotal to the success and wellbeing of the school.
